Our Community

Palmerton Telephone Company strives not only to provide the best, most reliable telephone service to our community that we can, but also to assist the community in other ways.

In addition to investing millions in our telephone network and the equipment and facilities to maintain it, we also invest our time, equipment and manpower to make our community a better place. From putting up holiday decorations in Palmerton to installing platforms for osprey nests atop of poles and everything in between, Palmerton Telephone has been helping to improve our community.

We are eager to help out when we can—more recently, we dug the holes for installing the new lights to brighten up the Palmerton borough park. But that isn’t all we do for the Palmerton Borough—we also put up holiday decorations on the telephone poles every year along Delaware avenue—including American flags and the Christmas decorations.

We have also assisted other community-oriented groups like the Wildlife Information Center. For their Lehigh Gap Refuge project, we donated two telephone poles and installed both the poles and nest platforms on top of them for the osprey and eagles that migrate through the area.

Through all of these efforts, we strive to assist with the improvement of our community as well provide its telephone service. After all, we not only serve our community, but many of us are residents as well.
